It’s good to have a domain name for your blog if you are a serious blogger. I realized this fact very lately.
My first blog was huntme.wordpress.com. I wrote a detailed post on fake login pages and how passwords are stolen using them. I wasn’t expecting much traffic for it. I started it just because hacking is my passion. I got a very good response for my posts and I got around 3k page views in the first week, and my traffic started increasing at a fixed pace and I got some loyal readers. When everything was going on smoothly suddenly I had to see this notice

One good thing was I had the wordpress export file with me, I had to look for some free host to host it as I neither had a credit card or money in my PayPal to buy web-hosting and domain at that time. I hosted my blog again on a free host. They kicked me off again after I started getting good traffic, this happened with two hosts and finally I’m here with you with this fancy domain name ?
I love my blog !!!

I got my Blog on Bloggger.com/blogspot.com
Its gud service cause it dosen’t ban blogs like WordPress
But its not so gud for getting Traffic…
“Domain is better than sub-domains” I agree with that..!
Even blogger bans some blogs, you never know. Its always good to have the complete control of our site.

damn! i have a hacking wordpress blog for two months and hasn’t got deleted! but anyways i never knew that you were not allowed to do that!!! lol!!! i get 300-400 visitors a day without advertising at all. anyways i gotta backup my posts before it is too late!!!!

I really did not know that.Anyways You had good progress with a subdomain but a domain is always better(and best when it is free:P)
