Swift theme really nice alternative of thesis and Genesis themes. Nice article.
How can I tell what size the slider is? I want to size my featured images to fit it well, but I don’t know it’s size. Should I just guess, or is it published somewhere I haven’t found?

I installed, deleted, reinstalled, etc Your theme is great. Unfortunately I can’t install it so it runs. Here is the error message I get:

Love this theme however I do not know html and I don’t like how the words in an article are touching photos. How do I change this is the editor? It is not pleasing to the eye and difficult to read posts.
A nice free theme with lot of options..I use it on my site. Why don’t you Submit to wordpress theme directory..?? It’ll make to popular list for sure ie.thousands of back links.Customization and good typo are the best aspects of the theme. You have concentrated on every aspect of the theme even 404 with 30 listed posts. GR8 WORK.. Will write a post on your theme soon.

Thanks for using SWIFT. I already submitted it to the wordpress theme directory, becos of the number of submissions they get daily, there is considerable delay in reviewing the updates, so I avoid publicizing that url

getting listed on top is the only way you can get a real value for your work. Let users download them you can offer updates via your blog..
@ extend Include your site in the description and mention that it’s powered by swift.
Add a black thumbnail of your theme as it would attract more or a thumbnail showing all 3 basic variations..
Add a link stating:: for the most recent version visit :: swift theme url.
“This theme is mainly aimed at blogs running on low server resources and for those who like clean and simple designs”
Remove this line — Nobody likes to to disclose or accept they run their site on a low powered server.
Description can be something like — this theme loads faster even on a inferior server .. Good if you use limited bandwidth plans..
Under installation tab add the admin features about adding tabs adsense config, analytics config etc..
People now manage to get premium themes for free from torrents or warez they expect those features on free themes..
Submit this theme to all directories and your blogger friends and ask everybody to redirect to wordpress extend theme page. which again contains your link. You won’t loose traffic.

I’ll add some 10 posts on basic usage tools like codec installation,tranmission(torrent),synaptic package manager etc . If you can get some good write to do this job I’ll be happy as I’m busy with studies..

Im not considering IE. To get rounded corners work in IE, I have to add an additional javascript file. I’m reluctant to including external files.
Safari thing was achieved with out using javascript.
You are right this is fast and looks great for no images. Thought I would let you know however that rounded corners do not work on Safari 4.02 on Mac. Works fine in FireFox on Mac.
