paypal has limited number of bank applicable to its terms. first ask your bank if they have a provision for a linkage.
if yes, then even a debit card would work to get your paypal account verified.

just add that card to your paypal account and withdraw the balance, but for that you would have to verify your name and address.

When I used to use Paypal it only allowed Credit Card for verification and bank accounts were not allowed. Does Paypal now allow adding bank account too for verification purpose.
Also what do you mean by keep your bank’s router number handy? What is routing number?
One last thing, that paypal doesn’t anymore allow you to register paypal account until you have a valid PAN number.

Yes i know it asks for pan card number but if you have your paypal verified you can easily buy goods and sell on website too.
