Block Relatives from Reading ‘Sensitive’ Updates on Facebook
Dark nightmares hit in sleep but the worst tragedies happen on Facebook. People these days put their head in Crocodile’s mouth by using Social Network in an unconscious manner.
If you haven’t fallen into trouble by posting something on your Facebook profile, thank God for that because you have been lucky. There are many instances when we type in some status updates and then repent it for whole.
If you don’t know, then pay attention because Facebook is one of the major reasons behind loss of privacy and broken relationships and this is not just the case in The United States.
Date with a Girl, Beatings from Dad
If your parents are on Facebook and they sent you a friend request, how are you going to respond then?
Can you say them in person that I won’t add you? I don’t know about you but most people cannot and will not do that.
If your relatives, mum or dad comes into your Social Network then your 100% Freedom on the web would turn to nothing, it will vanish in front of your eyes, you won’t be able to share anything forget about sharing date with a girl.
So… what to do if such situation happens?
Okay, thank God Mark Zuckerberg and his team got this idea because this feature of Facebook is a lifesaver.
Block ‘Specific People’ from Reading your Status Updates
Step 1 – Go to your Facebook Account and then type in your status update which you want to share.
Step 2 – Click on the lock like icon left to Share button and then click ‘Customize’.
Step 3 – Once the options box gets open, you can add the names of people in the ‘Hide this from’ section from whom you want your status to stay hidden.
Note: Clicking on the ‘Make this my default settings’ check box would apply these setting to all of your status updates.
Now you can post freely and only those people would see your status updates for whom they are meant.
