Apple iPad enters Indian Markets Finally

Apple iPad Tablet PC launched in India

Apple is ready to launch Apple iPad ‘Officially’ in India, it’s a great news right?

Although, whether they launch it officially or not, geeks who are addicted to Apple managed to get themselves a piece from ‘Other Sources’ within the first month of iPad’s Global Launch.

I am glad that Apple has launched their most popular tablet PC for a price which is far less than the price charged by Local Vendors for the same ‘illegally imported’ device.

Apple iPad 2 is coming around soon and Apple hinted about that at CES 2011 where it also launched the CDMA version of iPhone 4.

Now a question may arise? Why is Apple trying to sell all their remaining Apple iPads before the launch of their new Tablet PC?

The reason may sound a little annoying but is true. Apple considers Indian Markets to be a dispose station where they can dump their old gadgets that may face a potential sale snatchers for their new products.

How is India Dumping Station for Apple?

As a matter of fact, Apple doesn’t seem to think Indian Markets as lucrative as Chinese or European Markets. Most of their new products are not launched with the global launch here.

Apple iPad was launched the previous year and it has been set off for Indian Markets now after a year’s of delay. That is what I am talking about.

Similarly, when Apple was ready to release their iPhone 4 in the market Apple had started selling their soon-to-be-expired Apple iPhone 3GS at a slightly lower price in India.

Where you can find it and for how much?

Now you must wondering where to buy the ‘New’ Apple iPad and for how much.

The Apple iPad 1 would be available at iWorld, Croma and other premium retailers and might be seen legally with your local vendors.

The WiFi version of iPad would come in three variants (16GB/32GB/64GB) and would cost from Rs. 26,000 to Rs. 37,000 depending upon the memory storage you opt for.

Similarly, the 3G version of Apple iPad would also come in three variants mentioned above with a higher price tag from Rs. 33,000 to Rs. 44,000.

I think people buy Apple Gadgets because of the name associated to it. It doesn’t really guarantee the quality of products but since Apple has managed to create a long-lasting good impression on consumers, it becomes exclusive if you own an Apple gadget.

Many other gadgets in this category of ‘Tablet PCs’ like Samsung Galaxy Tab and Dell Streak are very good in performance as well as price but Apple stands out and that is one thing which stands out for it.  :D
