My last post was about the Round-ups of all rumors and I promised to deliver more on that. So here I am with new NEWS for all readers of TechBu.com!
Last night a new image was posted by “Tech Crunch” which is a supposed to be the Home Screen of iOS 5, No source of origin for this image has been quoted by Tech Crunch.
Clearly, this looks neat and clean and more importantly it recognizes the Apple’s way! Let’s turn our attention towards the changes visible in this image -
The first and foremost visible change can be seen in the status bar which is showing a twitter notification, justifying the system wide deep twitter integration rumor. Notification is showing Twitter Mentions done very neatly.. This also points towards the new Push Notification System rumored to be introduced in iOS 5 today. And the second visible change is the Camera icon which appears in Black color differentiating it from the icon in iOS 4, also this is not the first time when Apple has changed the icons with the launch of it’s new iOS.
A few Interesting things that I observed in the image are -
The Calendar app (which has a dynamic icon) shows the date as ’5′ and day as ‘Sunday’ which could mean 5th June as it was Sunday. Also, if you notice the time in the status bar – it shows 11:54 PM! All remaining stock icons that are available with iOS 4 are visible in correct order and as the WWDC 2011 logo indicates – the wallpaper of iOS 5 remains the same.
Who knows, if it is a real image or one of those 100s of fake images floating around the net! But its appearance just before hours to WWDC 2011 makes it different, also the image displays the notification system done the Apple’s way!
