This app justifies it’s name. Simple Converter is actually a simple to use converter. It is less powerful, providing only 6 categories, but the commonly used units are included, and these are easily accessible. Also, you can convert numbers to decimal, binary, octal and hexadecimal formats.
But, the same problem with this one, no support for negative values.

Convert Pad is a universal converter and calculator, and is the most powerful of all the apps listed here. It supports about 89 categories, including thousands of units, negative values, decimals and landscape orientation.
It gets a little difficult to browse through the units, but you can choose your favourites, which are easily accessible.

RealCalc Scientific Calculator
RealCalc is basically a scientific calculator, but it performs conversions too under the shift function. It provide units under 12 categories. And, it supports octal, decimal and hexadecimal formats.
The interface is not very good, there are converters on this list with a better UI, but if you want a universal scientific calculator with a decent converter, you can use this app.

Convert This is an easy to use converter, providing 13 categories of units, accessible by just a tap. it does not do very well in good looks, but is really fast and simple to use. And it supports landscape orientation, decimal and negative values.

Converter Lite doesn’t support a wide variety of units, but is still very powerful. It supports 4 categories, landscape mode, decimals, negatives, copy and paste options. Also, it provides a basic calculator, which can be used together with the converter, which means that you can calculate the value to be converted.
The interface is simple and nice, and the categories are easily accessible and changeable. If you want more categories, then there’s a paid version offering 25 categories.
